1.) Central banquette, Murrays Pizza *
Houston, Built 2025
Concept: Central banquette in dining space, elevated detailing to differentiate from straight run banquettes on sides of the restaurant space. Primary visual upon entry. Essential space planning required for guest comfort while maintaining egress paths for service and foot traffic.
2. Central Banquette, Leaf & Grain (Memorial) *
Houston, Built 2025
Concept: Large banquette to anchor the dining space with seating on all sides. Utilize large radius curved ends to play up other design motifs and soften the standard commerial mixed use storefront feeling of the existing space.
3. Dining Table
Houston, Built 2023
Concept: Personal design/fabrication project for my residence. Top is 5/4 red oak solid wood, hand carved set back filetted edge. 1” carbon steel tubes welded together make up the legs. Fabrication shop and guidance provided by Bob Bacon/Tatu Metal Art, Houston TX.
4. Record Console
Houston, Built 2022
Concept: Personal design/fabrication project for a storage solution for records/record player & speakers. 3/4 birch plywood is used throughout, with 3/4 carbon steel square tube base to match wood dimension. Design exercise in simplicity and feasibility of fabrication with a limited skillset. Fabrication shop and guidance provided by Bob Bacon/Tatu Metal Art, Houston TX.
5. Banquette, Georgia James
Houston, Built 2022
Concept: Banquetts with integrated louvers running into ceiling to create corridor and tie into larger room partitions. Designed in collaboration with Medgser Studio.
6. Retail Shelving / Banquette, Winfields Chocolate Bar (Rice Village) *
Houston, Built 2021
Concept: Create a retail area upon entry to storefront with a built in banquette on the dining side.
